Time-Out Northcote Centre
Our brand new, architect designed purpose built centre has absolute attention to detail right down to the room design, play areas and play equipment indoors and out. The layout of the centre encourages interaction between children of all ages and at different stages of development, while ensuring optimum safety and security.

Time-Out is registered to cater for children from the ages of 0 - 6 years. Regulations stipulate the ratio of staff to children according to age specific guidelines. Staff plan developmentally appropriate programs which meet the needs of all children in the group. Staff are alert to the children's backgrounds, interests and needs in planning and evaluating strategies for learning.
Our age groups are:
- 0 - 1 years
- 1 - 2 years
- 2 - 3 years
- 3 - 4 years
- 4 - 5 years
Our staff/child ratios are:
- For Children under 3 years of age -1 staff person to every 4 children -for every 12 children, 1 staff member must be qualified
- For Children over 3 years of age 1 staff person to every 15 children -for every 30 children, 1 staff member must be qualified
Our Centre is a smoke free zone and as such, we ask that parents/guardians also respect this when visiting the Centre.
Our Centre is registered with the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development and we abide by the ANSTAT Education and Care Services National Regulations.
